Arts Center stage setting for discussion by community stakeholders
Mayor Paul Shewmaker hosted the nonprofit Ten at the Top on Friday at the Simpsonville Arts Center. Ten at the Top partners with hundreds of businesses, organizations and community stakeholders to work collaboratively to address challenges that span the Upstate region. The Arts Center auditorium stage was the setting for upwards of 45 people to discuss and exchange ideas about improving quality of life. Attendees also mingled in the Arts Center Gallery before the gathering to admire work from the "eARTh Organic Art Exhibition" featuring Tim Lincolnhol and Alan Folger.

Congratulations to Clark Nesbitt of Clark Nesbitt’s No Dreams Deferred for the significant honor of receiving the Founders Award at the South Carolina Children's Theatre gala on June 7. The Founders Award is the most prestigious honor the South Carolina Theatre Association can bestow, and it recognizes the individual or organization that has demonstrated a sustained investment with long-standing service to and promotion of theatre in South Carolina. The Simpsonville Arts Center is proud to host Clark Nesbitt and Clark Nesbitt’s No Dreams Deferred on our stage!
