City Administrator Dianna Gracely oversaw the grand opening of the Simpsonville Arts Center in February 2022, just four years after her hire date when the Arts Center was nearly empty and out of operation.

The Founders Award is the most prestigious honor the South Carolina Theatre Association can bestow, and it recognizes the individual or organization that has demonstrated a sustained investment with long-standing service to and promotion of theatre in South Carolina.
