Cornerstone Ballet performs "Coppelia"

A student production for all ages, "Coppelia" marked the first ballet performance to take place in the Simpsonville Arts Center since its opening in February 2022. Cornerstone Ballet produced the ballet with director Amy DeShong for two performances on March 31 and April 1. Arts Center Manager Melissa Sturgis said the Arts Center was proud to host Cornerstone Ballet.

"Part of being a well-rounded arts center is featuring a diverse selection of visual and performing art forms, and ballet is perfect for such a selection," Sturgis said. "The students of Cornerstone Ballet did a phenomenal job, and we look forward to many more ballet performances."
